connecting to Openbox through Router to the Internet?

Hi,

I've hooked up my Ethernet from the box to the Router but I'm having trouble getting the network connection to work.

It comes up with my IP but never says the Network is connected?

any ideas?

what router have you got? is dhcp in network set up turned on?

Don't worry I just done a factory reset and it works now!

Pls how do i know that my box has established a connection with the router?

go to menu-network set up and it will show you your ip and gateway

Brilliant stuff i was pretty sure i read somewhere that you couldnt ftp to these boxes, i guess latest firmwares allow it now?

Yes you can m8, it's on here somewhere; just a matter of looking through the threads, i downloaded the tools not long back so it wont be far , welcome to dk by the way,
