    Openbox S9 - 4 Fixed Dishes

    I am trying to configure 4 fixed Dishes
    LNB1 = AsiaSat3s
    LNB2= Pana****
    LNB3= PakSat
    LNB4= Nilesat

    I connected the cables to Diseq and LNB1 in Diseqc Port 1 and did antenna setup in my openbox

    then Disconnected LNB 1 and Connected LNB2 in Diseqc Port 2 and configured antenna setup and repeated it till all 4 dishes

    It worked fine when connected individually on DiseqC but when i connected all of them together in Disqc and tried to view the channels on openbox its picking up only two dishes and rest of them are appearing blank
    I am attaching pictures of the antenna setup
    Please tell me whats wrong in the settings

    why are you bothering to mess about with the motor settings? if you plug one satellite dish it; say AsiaSat.. do a scan and it will save what it finds,
    then undo the satellite and plug in a different dish, pana****... do a scan and it will save what it finds,
    then unplug that sat and plug in paksat... do a scan and it will save it
    then unplug that sat and plug in nilesat, do a scan and it will save the channels found..
    you will then have 4 differant sats installed but you will have to plug in whichever sat you want to watch....

    How are you trying to plug 4 satellite dishes into the one box all at the same time?
    If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!

      i am using DiseqC to connect all 4 Dishes and one output wire coming to my box
      They work perfectly fine individually but not working all together

        darcu5, in his other thread I think he confirmed he has his 4x dish fed into a deseqc switch, this then feeds to the box..

        oziking, sorry I cant help you, I dont have much knowledge of connecting via diseqc switch, Im motorised.. Hopefully somebody who understands multi LNB setups will be along soon to offer guidance..

            Well the problem is solved
            I thought to share it in case someone else is having the same problem as well
            It was the DiseqC
            Actually there is a signal loss in low quality switches and Openbox tuner does not has high power output for LNB, unlike other brands receivers.
            Thus i tried 2-3 different DiseqC and one worked
            I was even getting cutting on channels if connected with the other so called good quality DiseqC
            This one is of TechnoSat and worked perfectly fine with exactly the same settings as shown in the images above

              sorry im back to NO SIGNAL
              It worked fine with new DiseqC for 5-10 minutes
              picked up all 4 feeds but then again dead on FEED2 & FEED 3

              I tried following DiswqC

              TechnoSat - Worked for 5-10 minutes - STOPPED WORKING
              RakoSat - Comes with a rain proof cover - DIDNT WORK
              EUROSAT - DIDNT WORK

              The details given on all DiseqC is

              Frequency 950-2400 Mhz
              Insertion Loss 3 dB

                i used an old DiseqC
                All others i tried were 950-2400 Mhz
                but none of them worked

                the one which is working is 900-2400Mhz ......strange...
                But at least its working
