what sats to scan

hi all
using a fixed normal sat dish what sats do i scan for.
or if im using someone elses fav channel list will it scan the sats they scaned

Standard S*y dish be pointing at Astra 28.2.

ooops ive had it set to eurobird cheers

no ooops mate, Eurobird1 & a few Astra2 satellites are all clustered around the 28.2e position in the Sky, from these satellites is where our UK TV channels come from, if you blind scan the 28.2e position it gets all whats being beamed out from these satellites..
