    Open V Spider

Hi can anyone tell me what the differences are between the Spider & Open (boxes)?
Are you able to program either with the same flashs?
    They look so similar.
    Thanks

each has their own bespoke flashes and these are not transferable , same with the new eagleHD or blade bm7000s

some are cheaper than others , and maybe not do as much

a new spiderbox can be patched and use a 12 month spider gift servie to open channels , after that you are on your own with c lines using cccam , or n with newcamd

all can use c or n lines

the spider can serve out a card using newcamd , the others cannot

some open boxes are clones so beware

most or all can open some channels with softcams using ucas

all have usb sockets , usually usb updating , and most or all can playback divx files , some maybe can play mkv too like the eagle or maybe the blade

      Thank you.
It's just someone I was talking to about buying a new box said they were the same.
      Obviously they are not.
A bit more investigation is needed I think.
