As long as all your looking to see is 28.2 then yes that's fine and you don't need a motorised dish.
IF YOU THINK MY POST HAS BEEN HELPFUL PLEASE HIT

      would it be useful

to have a motorised dish .while using an openbox
      freesat downstairs/openbox upstairs

freesat is on 28e and is fixed

if you use a motor with a twin lnb , it will have to be pointed at 28 east for the freesat to work

if it was pointed at any otehr satellite the openbox would work and the freesat box would say no signal

ideally you want a sly mini dish with quad lnb for the freesat boxes , and the motorised dish for the openbox

          wires

assuming you have 2 coax cables coming into the house.
Only 1 receiver can control the motor, the slave receiver would have to watch what the master is aimed at.
