How to transfer data on s10 using usb??

I know how to put a line in mgcamd using the remote but how would i put a line in using a file from usb stick??
Should i create a new notepad doc and put line in thier and call the file newcamd.list?? As i tried but s10 can't see the file am i doing it right ppl. thanks

save and edit

Save present settings to usb stick and edit that on pc.
Just hit the save after editing and the filename should remain intact so the openbox can see it.
