Just got me an S11

Well, I have taken the plunge and got myself a box off Ebay for ?66.99 delivered Special Delivery.

Hooked it all up and all seems well

I could do with some suggestions on how to get the best out of it

Maybe you could private message me on what's out there ?

I also just got my box off ebay today, same price prob same seller. I set it up and seems to work fine!

What help you need?

Im trying to sort out the channel lists and favorites for easy access to my channels. I have Sly UK + Asian Channels (5ee, 5tar plus etc..).

Anyone got a 100% UK channel list for these?.. Im searching till I find a good one that works for me (trying to make my own, using others and editing them).

Also, I get most the freeview channels in the UK, except a few (5, 5+1, US, US+1), is this a problem with the box or the dish?.. kinda stuck on this one issue.

Finally, can i customize this box in any way?, style and epg and stuff? (Links to guides/tutorials would be appreciated)

Anyways, I got a satellite guy coming wednesday to extend my current dish with 1 output, to hopefully 3 more rooms!!

Any help from an openbox master would be appreciated!
Maybe i'll write up a openbox start to finish tutorial for noobs like me once I get the hang of it.

Your better off making your own channel list on the s11 box itself. scan 28.2 then go into menu - edit channel - tv channel list select favs, scroll thru channels and select a channel you want, then the option to drop it into favs will pop up, and select where you want it,
once you have channels in favs, you can then select to move the channels into some sort of order..
As for 5* and 5usa, they have just changed transponders so you will have to manually insert the transponder and scan it.....

No, not checked if it's a clone.

Working fine for me.

- now enter 7 7 7 7 7 7 on the remote.

If the CCID is one of the following:

1) 00d0
2) 00ea
3) 085b
4) 0d0c
5) 98a1
6) 98f2
7) 9cf4
8) 9d1a
then its a genuine box

Hi guys looks like I got mine from the same seller mine it also same chip Id and working great,only thing I hate the the 3 columbs in the channels menu when you press OK you cant see the full channel name particularly bad for S/sports 1 2 3 etc. Any way to get a single columb???? anyone? Otherwise real pleased with it for ?66.99 delivered rapid like.
