openbox s9 wont flash using erom

i have an openbox s9 this wont connect to flash using various versions of e rom tried lots of fw and different erom versions also different loaders gives errors stb memory error tried different timings also say set upgrade error any ideas before i put this in the bin have spent hours on this box really dont want to bin it if recoverable tried all recovery tools but still no luck

if you are good at soldering,I believe the flash chip for the s9 was the 8pin mx25L3205d,which can be programmed with a simple parallel port programmer.

s10 is the 8pin mx25L3206E,I have the blank chips but never got around to playing with it yet.I was going to use the spi tiny tools.I think v1.0.25 was the last version in english.

the chips are cheap,it would cost more for shipping than the chips are worth.You should just try to program the one you have.
