s9 screen sayin on but on screen is black???

hey guys i really need your help. u i was trying ot upgrade by usb the channel list and by mistake i lounchd the firmware and when it asked to burn the flush i switched it off. then i turnd it back on and on the s9 box scrren is saying on but on tv theres nothing just black screen..... can ony one help pls???????

Not sure but maybe the firmware is corrupt now and you might need to flash via serial method.

don't worry, all is not lost but it looks like you will have to plug it into comp via null modem cable and reflash it that way mate. I''m sure others will confirm this. look through post on here and you will find everything you need to recover 'dead' box

I never did check to see if it could be fixed via the lan manager,I fixed mine the old way with rs232.
Maybe worth a shot for people that don't have rs232 cables.
Monitoring rs232 it will say app init ok,which means the receiver isn't 100% dead.
