How to tell if receiver is original or clone.

I'm seeing a number of Openbox receivers on Ebay. How do you know if they will be original or clones?

I have the same problem with my openbox S9. Sometimes the CCcam after 5 minutes online but offline. Sometimes he is not online. with a TV card flanders see the box but the card reboot onmiddelijk.Firmware???

I downloaded them the firmware and now only an occasional freeze CCcam. Much better!

how do i update my firmware but keep my channel lists and cline

i currntly have version C2HS2-11-09-14:03f5CMT but want to upgrade as fed up of channels skipping/ freezing (Sly s HD). i know my box aint a clone so tried firmware HDs2_s10.ABS and i loose all by channel lists and cline.
am i missing something simple out sorry if im a divvie.

Unless you had a backup for everything you are out of luck completely now.
Freezing skipping had nothing to do with the firmware rev.

cheer bud had it all dumped so all good. why is it all channels are fine except those hd ones
