missing channels

hi all
i have an s10 on a standard dish and seem to have a few channels missing

should i get receive setanta ireland

i have sly movies, but not in hd
i have sly sports, but only in hd


think theres a few others just carnt remember right now.

u should be able to pick up setanta ireland.. sd channels but no hd usually means lnb or alignment probs

could also try an inline amp... have read about peeps getting results with these. ebay, dont pay no more than a fiver

could be the dish lnb it an old one

how many boxes running off dish?
if more than one, unplug others and see if hd chans clear.. if they do i would say get an amp, if they dont then i would say lnb/dish

just the one box, il try a amp, if that doesnt work i maybe replace dish an poss get a motorised on while im at it

yeah sounds like a plan.. cheapest option first and spend your way up
