Removing $ sign in openbox channel list

    Hi All

I have spent ages preparing channel bouquets for all sats in Openbox s11, when you go into the channel lists they show the full name of the channel but when they are saved into favourites the end of the channel name or number is not visible and ends with the scrambled $ sign

For Example they all look like this

    Sky Sports$
    Sky Sports$
    Sky Sports$

    Instead of

    Sky Sports 1
    Sky Sports 2
    Sky Sports 3

Does anyone know of a way round this? surely there must be a way of seeing the whole channel name

    Cheers

THINK you can do it if u use a channel editor, such as pvr800 theres an option to pick if each channel is a pay channel or not.. havent tried that aspect of it myself so dont take it as gospel
      Fave replies from various threads

1: What the fff is all that about??? All that crap below your reply I mean, get a life mate
2: no info on google abt the pace sv5 rang asda they have no idea what i was talking about,
3: Your total contribution to this forum, bordering on trolling, seems to have been a collection of snipes, one liners & asterisked expletives

I had a M8 that attempted this and box ended up going into constant reboot mode after a few secs, ended up reflashing box, this now was based on 15/8/2011 fware.
Latest firmware might have a fix, i would backup all settings if your planning on doing this manually, even try channel by channel, a bit labor intensive but might save time in long run.
