i have bought from here before and they are rubbish as they sent me a dead box it wont start on switch on, the box it came it was battered
they tried to past it off as a new one too me as well
so i phone him saying its not working, so i did i sent it with yodel who track you parcel
they then turned round to me and send that then never got it so they couldnt refund or swap it
in the end i went thu paypal to get my money back and they tried it on again by saying there was nothing wrong with the box
so i told paypal id sent it back plus i gave them the tracking and i finally got my money back
i would suggest using satandcable as they give you support after you buy from them plus comes with a 3 pin plug
ive never had a problem ordering from satandcable

hi,
i have one from maxsat purchased last week.

i am in trouble with it and cant find a solution.
Box is working good but i can not upgrade.
firm on it has no prio support.

when i do upgrade by usb,he upgrades withouth a problem,
but when i go in menu the menu stays locked.
only option left upgrade by usb and network.

i always try menu 6666 even al other combinations,nothing to do.
Always have to go back to my dump of the firm on it.
the firm who was on the box gives clone id CCID: FF00

have already tried al software original and even for clone,
nothing to do.

only version i have been able to get it working was the version by AnonymouSX but not the s10 version,the s9
that version gives me original id 98A1

someone has send me the original dump of the s10,even that version wont work.

Normaly the s10 original soft i think has the symbols when you press menu from left to right.

my soft has the icons all on the left side.

now i have tried to upgrade by rs232,no luck at all.
can not make connection with box,i have tried it slow,fast with the program like mensioned here on the site, nothing to do.
and normally my cable is ok,i used it to upgrade kaon and humax recievers so i think it's 0 modem,2 femelles

What i am wondering,can it be that he (maxsat)disabled the rs port.
i think i see a cable,not sure.
is rs232 on print or with a cable atached?
He has put a sticker on the bold so i can not check without
damaging his maxsat label.

also something strange,next to ethernet port is a small sticker with dm500sv9 on it,is this normal?

it's so strange that i can not unlock the menu when i put other soft on it.

what if my s10 is a s9

looking at pics of the s9 firm,is the same as mine
menu on the left side.
will run some test tomorow.

also the back of my reciever,i can not find a s10 or s9 pic
who is the same as my reciever

tested today the 02/12/2011 firm for the s9 and yes now
that is working good on the reciever.
good thing my id is 98A1 so it's not clone.

So i had a s9 delivered in a box of the s10,with the frontpanel

the picture you have attached is a s10 because its slimmer and has no scart on the back

ok,but what can be the problem than with the s10
no s10 soft will work on it,i have tried it all.
always end up with locked menu and no way to unlock it.
even a original dump of the s10 wont work.

they only think i can think is someone has swap the insides with a s9 but wanted it be small and thiner than the original s9 box
or
it is a clone which only accepts s9 fw as you have tried s10 fw that in one of the fw you got label s10 it must of had a code in it too only accept s9's software and fw

the back connectors are different than a real s10.
My usb is horizontal,the rca are in line left to right and the power cord is hard wired to the power supply.
Try using hibox f2 firmware.

I bought an S12 from them last week. Order was dispatched promptly and it arrived when they said it would. They sent me 3 emails - a "welcome" email on joining. Another to say they'd got my order and a third with the DHL tracking number. The consignment arrived next working day.

The S12 did come with a european (2 round pins) power adapter, not a UK one but I found a euro-uk mains adapter. Thought to be fair, there was nothing, anywhere on the S12 box to indicate if it was euro/UK so I'm willing to give Maxsat the benefit of the doubt.
