    S10 Clone Network Help

    Hi

    My mate got an s10 from ebay and guy even said it wasn't a clone in the listing, but it has figure of 8 power cable.

    Anyway for the life of me I couldn't get the cline to connect, I tried firmware it came with wouldn't work, then tried other clone safe firmware but no joy, then I used the firmware backup from my s10 with attached power cable, and it work sweet connected cline and all channels, however once power off and on it shows oN on the LED display. So now I am going to have to null modem cable it to fix it, but is there a known issue with clones and network/cline connectivity ????

      Not tryin to disheartin you but if you have a figure 8 power cord and installed a none clone image usually after a reboot x10 the box goes into "ON" mode, i had 4 boxes with same fault and was only able to recover one.

          Thanks Systemseiko.

          Strange thing is the box was only rebooted once and then this has happened, I thought I would be able to fix via cable no problem. I was more concerned about getting the clone firmware working with the cline after I fix it.

          It did say the Chip ID was a legit one before I flashed my firmware, Is that the problem maybe that I install a dump from my working non-clone S10 to the clone, maybe that what killed it faster.
