Openbox s9 Missing Channels...Help !

Hi, i got an openbox s9 set up in my bedroom with a 1m dish (motorised) When i had the openbox s9 on downstairs it worked fine but since putting it upstairs i have noticed that ESPN HD, SLYSPORTS 3 HD and EDEN HD have no signal when i change to that channel and thus i get no picture. So i deleted all my channels and re-scanned myself and now i can't even get those 3 channels in my list can get ESPN, SLYSPORTS 3 in SD but no HD and i can't even get EDEN in SD or HD but can get EDEN +1, its weird. Anybody have any idea's as to why this may be as all other channels are working perfectly.

Also i tried adding the TP's manually but when i scan them it finds NO channels.

do you have another box running on the same dish? if so unplug it and try just this one box on it's own.. some problems have occurred when trying to run 2 boxes off the same dish and the signal rate drops out, Also check the lnb is set to highest univesal setting and try again.

friend of mine bought openbox and i set it up for him earlier and we had the same problem,we were looping through the openbox into sky hd box and we had same problem as you,the only way we could sort it was use and a-b switch and all channels working fine now.

No mate i got a 1m motorised upstairs on my s9 and i got a sly mini dish on a s11 downstairs. The s11 is all good but the s9 is having the troubles i explained above. Doin my head in.

Thinkin that mate so ordered an lnb off fleabay so will soon see.

update...........OK got a new techno-mate lnb off fleabay for about ?8 and now all channels are working again !!

This has been doing my head in also. I have a motorised system and I MUST have HB for the footie.

Had a DM800HD with rev J tuner and had similar issues to those described in this thread. Upgraded to a rev M tuner and all was OK but signals were still lowerer than I would have expected. DM died on me last week so I got an S10 until I decide on my next SuperBox. Now I'm back to square one with lost channels and glitching as I had on the DM before upgrading to the rev M tuner. Guess the tuner in the S10 is a cheapy.

Based on Hooliigan's experience I think I too will now try the LNB route before I even start considering relocating or messing about with my dish setting again.
