Openbox 28.2 Channel List 4/2/12 This is what you've all been waiting for!!!

Do not ask me to personalise it for your region, this is easily done via the remote. I must thank nbrumby from another forum for laying out the basics of this list. I just organised them into the FAVs.

This is tested working on an S10.

Here is a list of the FAVs:
1.Entertainment
2.Lifestyle
3.Movies
4.Sports
5.News
6.Documentaries
7.Kids
8.Music
9.Shopping
10.Religious
11.Interactive
12.Irish Channels
13.Box Office
14.Adult
15.International

For those that don't know how to upgrade here's a short tutorial:-

Hit Menu
Select tools
Select Upgrade by USB
Change Upgrade Mode to Misc Files
Select Select & Upgrade
Select OK on TP_PROG.dbs (a tick will appear beside it)
Hit the yellow button
Once completed exit out of this and reboot box

HI all...if I delete the adult section will that delete the channels or just the fav group ? thanks

Ok, updated and rebooted but Favs lists are not labeled correctly only get FAV Group 1 etc..

What firwmare version did you save this from ?

I am using 15 Aug 11 firmware presently.

I totally agree with that statement about all been waiting for FlipFlop's but this list when I published it was the closest we had to SGTFlipFlop for Openbox henceforth was the best available at that time.

I don't agree with being a thanks whore, if you even remember at one point FlipFlop even said he wasn't doing lists anymore due to people not being grateful. I know it's the nature of the internet but if something helps you the least a person can do is hit a button to let the poster/author know that it's appreciated.

something wrong here ?? that is why we all here we adapt files programs to suit our needs think it is good if you can adapt something to suit other needs don't stop doing something that benefits others just thank the original author for input don't mean you haven't helped and i agree with the lads do not ask for thanks it will come thanks

That's true mtv1 but there are a lot of people here who just nab the file and away they go. I've even got PM's from people with 1 post who want me to personalize the list for them.

Also Shady I would just like to point out that the first person to do a conversion of FlipFlops list was myself a few months back using SetEdit and SetDream. It was only 8 FAVs but that was all we had at the time. The first person on this site (or one of the first) to make a channel list remotely similar to the proper one was myself. Spent hours getting it right to get next to no thanks.

Just one of my pet peeves that people aren't thankful for something that takes hours to create.

I rest my case, 156 downloads. 9 thanks. (I'm not sure if this is conversion one I done or the one I done channel at a time but point is still the same.)

it seems that thanks is all you're after, dont bother doing anymore if thats how you feel. You titled the thread "This is what you've all been waiting for!!! " as if it was the ~~~~ing holy grail.., and then berate people for not thanking you, theres plenty of lists on dk, indeed all over the web for people who dont want to make their own, yours isnt needed and your attitude isnt warranted. If we all took your lead, then there would be no dk.

It wasn't meant to be the holy grail of channel lists mate, how many time have you seen here that people asking for better lists. This was the best available at that time so it was the one everyone was waiting for.

It didn't mean to come across as having an attitude against people who don't give thanks. It is what you call manners though. The only person I see with an attitude in this thread is you though. I've been big enough to apologize for coming across as if I had an attitude.

You came across with an attitude.
Though you have now edited that out.
You yourself have only given thanks to 15 posts .
If your after thanks, your wasting your time as most dont stay around long enough after leeching files.
Your choice if you want to keep doing lists, at the end of the day we all give a lot of time on here free.

i have posted a channel list myself in the past, Digital Kaos - Downloads - 28.2e channel list all categorised 244 d/ls its had 244 d/ls and 9 thanks... and you know what? who cares how many its had? another example... Digital Kaos - Downloads - Noobs guide to 500c my guide, 3860 d/ls, 71 thanks.. did i throw my dummy out the pram because it didnt get the amount of thanks I thought it deserved? no.. you're a thanks whore.. plain and simple
