    Openbox S11 Network Issue

I have 2 openbox s11 on home network, both boxes cannot view encrypted channels at the same time without really bad pixelation. FTA channels are fine which prove the signal is ok and I think it must be a network issue. I have noticed both have the same mac address and think this may be what is causing some conflict on the network.

Is there any way to either change the mac address on one of the boxes? Alternatively is there a setting on the router which could eliminate the problem?

Yes, m8. FTA channels work on both boxes, so that proves the signal is ok and points to the network. Well according to my logic. What you thinking?

I was thinking down the wrong lines mate sorry, there are reports of problems running 2 boxes from the same dish; but their signal was lost when both boxes where on, not the same as yours.

In your router just check the option for upnp is selected, and both boxes have dhcp on, I'll have a look about see if i can find any more info, but i don't think you can change the mac addy on these boxes like you can on the dm's

                  OK well goto

                  menu > tool > information

check the details on this page with the details from yuor other box, you will find that it is cloned, i.e. MAC address is same on both boxes, this is why your boxes will not view encrypted channels correctly when both on same network.

                  solution????

still working but unless you change mac addressi doubt there is a fix.
