    S10 EPG Event Recording.

I have connected a 160GB disk to my S10. NTFS & in a powered Caddy. The S10 sees it and it has formatted it (NTFS). The S10 has the latest firmware and is not a clone.

    The S10 will:
    -dump to the disk
    -timeshift using the disk
-record & playback recordings done manually using the record button on the remote.

My problem comes when trying to set up a scheduled recording. It appears to record an event set using the EPG but when finished shuts the box down. On rebooting nothing appears anywhere in the Medial Player listing.

Searched everywhere so I suspect it may only be me and I must being doing something wrong. So any pointer much appreciated.

    Thanks.

Thanks Slugworth but I knew this already.

The issue is that the box crashes when the event completes and when rebooted there is nothing in any of the Media lists.

I'll try reflashing it and post results later in case anyone else comes across this.

mine would crash when recording with the remote.
I hit the stop button and it doesn't stop, the icon stays on the screen for recording.Receiver locks up and I have to cycle power to recover.Mediaplayer shows a file but zero size.I ended up going back to old firmware.

maybe try making small test recordings with the timer, like 5 minutes and watch it to see what happens.
