I just received an Openbox S10 receiver.
The firmware had Astra and Hotbird channels installed but setup as a fixed dish with two LNBs. Since I left my motorised dish on Astra with my other receiver, I watched the Astra channels without any problems.
However when I went to change the settings so that all my satellites are now set up as Diseq1.2 motor and I try to rotate the motor to set up the position for Hotbird, the Openbox reboots. If it reboots on a Hotbird channel, thus requiring a rotation of the dish, the Openbox will continue rebooting itself ad infinitum.
The only way to stop this rebooting is to remove the LNB in cable from the Openbox, arrange back the settings and then putting the cable back in.
I have read that this problem occurred to others but there was never a conclusion if this was ever solved or not.
I have also tried various firmwares including the one by AnonymousX dated 2-2-2012 but still the problem is there. My box is original as the id is in the list of original ids.
Has anyone solved this issue and what did they do to solve it?
