openbox s11 channel help plzzz

hi, first of all im totally a noob, i have managed to get my openbox S11 up and running (finally). i can access all the channels i want through the FAV button or the TV channel list but if i just scroll through the channels, theres only about 11 or 12 channels. please help before i pull all my hair out.

i have the same problem as it only scans 12 channels but i have an 80cm dish so i dont know why

Just stick a channel list on.

I am a newbie but so far i have got a .abs firmware file which i have put on and a dbs channel list and loads came up but they all say no signal but when i do a satellite scan only 11 channels come up such as lider tv azerbijan ttv map tv ch1 stuff like that but i am on astra 28.2e and my dish i aligned properly what should i do need help plz

If it says No Signal then thats what it means but it could be Dish, Cable Connections or even the Tuner.

When you say the dish is alligned correctly, how have you checked this?

I have checked it with a satellite finder and it is on astra 28.2e i think and i have all the channel list that i put on but i did not scan them coz it only comes up with 12 channels is there anything that i need to do.

Sounds like you have picked up part of Eutelsat and not Astra. It could be just a fraction of a degree out. What type of meter you using? One with a readout of what channels you have locked on or a digital/needle one that tells you how strong the signal is?

Lider is on 13e/36e
TTV is 13e
Map tv is on 13e/36e

You are on 13e or 36e by the looks of it if these channels clear.
