I take it you mean when trying to FTP the box?

Think its dependant on the firmware, read that its sometime 'anonymous' and the password i '0000' '1111' or '1234'

you can't ftp into the box because it isn't true ftp.
        port 1000 for tcp/udp

Some of the software used requires a username and password.

I'll assume that was what the op was talking about, whether it's true FTP or not.

                lan manager,not ftp tool-big difference.
You use the default password unless you changed the receiver password and there is no username.

Are you being particularly arsey on purpose?

Theres absolutely no need to be so pedantic, wind your neck in.
