AJ's Sky UK Channel List **Discussion** Thread

Ive been reading that the newest firmware that is out for the openbox/skybox/libertview blah blah, doesnt like ajs channel list for some reason. Luckily the Libertview v8 im using didnt brick like the skybox f5s did, when i tried adding AJ's list. To be fair id like to try and add CWAITES but im worried i might brick the libertview aswell now! Stuck on LOAD was the issue so definatley needed re flashing.

Just to add ive used the lists on f3 and f5 boxes for ages all with the same process of putting it on said boxes and with the same usb stick, so im leaning more toward the firmware point i mentioned above. I may pluck up the arsehole to try CWAITES list and report back.... better still if anybody else is using any of the mentioned lists with the ltest firmware on a v8s or f5s then give us a shout .

Just Little heads up, ive used ajs list for a while now. When putting it onto a skybox f5s it bricked it twice, having never had this happen before i was stumped. Tried loading it onto a v8 and it wouldnt take it, either the file didnt take to my usb stick properly or theres an issue somewherd but just be careful if your using this list on an f5s. May have been user error but im not sure as ive never had issues with these lists on any other skybox. Anybody else have issues?

I have never had any problems myself with AJ's list on various different boxes, but I have read on other forums that there is a problem with AJ's list on some boxes, while working OK with CWAITE's list.

Perhaps AJ uses a different channel editor to CWAITE? But if that's the case, why hasn't there been problems before?

Perhaps it's due to different versions of mainboards in the boxes? (clone/genuine?)

Whatever the reason, it's strange that it should start happening now & wasn't a problem in the past.

I always use AJ's list and never had a problem on my F5s. I even edit the list for my own preference and then dump to USB to save and it works faultlessly.

Could be the file has been corrupted or there's an issue with your USB stick. Have you tried downloading the file again?

Zing & all Zee channels still working here on 11662H.

They are clearing, but with lot of glitches. It's as if the freq has changed and I'm quite close to the correct freq, but not quite there yet.

I've had Problems with SS5 and showcase but have just flashed my F5s with CWAITE channel list and now have all channels , tried several times with AJs list ...

Zee TV, Zing TV, Zee Cinema, Zee Punjabi, &TV all seem to have moved to a new freq.
All are working fine on my next door neighbours $ky Box, but not for me.

Zing & all Zee channels still working here on 11662H.

Go into installation in menu then do a TP scan on 12188H and it will appear at the end of the list.

H2 has stopped working on both my F3 and TM5402. I guess the frequency must have been changed?

For those with SS1 not working on 12110H, you could try a TP scan on 12148H. SS1 wil be listed at the end of the "all" channel list.
