I'm a bit lost with this iv extracted the files and extracted again and put it into my x3 and I lost all channels and favs names what am I doing wrong? Sorry for being a newb :-( Can I get some advise please am I extracting the wrong file or am I doing it all wrong ?

Check the tutorial in the second post but channel lists aren't supposed to effect your favourites, are you sure you've not accidentaly upgraded your firmware? Firmware are .ABS, Channel lists are .DBS.

I thought I had done it correct I even did it step by step via a you tube tut off another site I must of done something wrong
How can I get the favs back? Sorry I'm a bit lost :-(

I have your Channel list and it seems to keep scrambling is the list or would be my GIFT. Cheers

hey guys, i just got myself s10 openbox. just trying to figure out how to work the thing. i must say you guys are very helpful. i understand there is a lot of info out there but i was wondering if there is any place i could find out what all the terms actually mean and what their functions are; i.e. c-line etc etc. just to gain some basic understanding. thank you!

Hi, Just received my Skybox F3 today and it came with software version 3601HD_05_06_2012_0597 is this firmware okay and stable ? also it came with no default channels so would this channel list work fine ? Thanks.

Reinstall from the backup that you made..? Other than that you'll have to type them back in with your remote or install a firmware with preset favs. Look at the second post for a step by step on how upgrade your channel list.

It seems to work fine for everyone else, try someone else's list & compare but I'd say it's probably your 'gift'.

Have a look at these forums for an hour & you should pick up everything you need, the only thing you won't find explained here is C-lines (google CCcam.cfg).

If it works then don't fix it, upload a channel list & test it.

One Q, having problems viewing RTE2 HD, just getting scrambled, RTE1 and RTE2 are fine so not sure what could be causing it, any idea?

Updated from previous version, but all tv channels are removed and only have radio channels? Anybody else having problems, or just me? I have updated previously with no problems so I don't know what happened?

x3 favs

worked fine on a f3 , just tried on a x3 with newist fimware all i get is
fav group 1 2 3 4 5 etc

on a f3 the favs were movie music sports etc

you need to rename favs yourself on x3......
