FAQ

• How do I put this list on to my box?
  
  Firstly, before any upgrade you should always backup! Once you've done that;
  
  
  1. Unzip AJ's List XX-XX-XX.zip with a program such as winrar & place the TP_PROG.DBS file onto the root of your USB drive.
     
     
  2. In the Openbox menu delete your current channel list by going to the "Edit Channel" tab & selecting "Delete All".
     
     
  3. Staying in the menu navigate to the "Tools" tab then "Upgrade by USB", change the upgrade mode from "Image File" to "Misc Files" then "Select & Upgrade" & select "TP_PROG.DBS" then press yellow, if all done correctly it should begin to upgrade.
     
     
  4. Once the upgrade has completed restart your box & voil?!
  
  
  
  
• Why are my favourites not named correctly?
  
  Favourites only retain their name if you upgrade a whole image, for channel list upgrades you'll always need to manually change them in the Openbox menu.
  
  
  
• Which boxes is this list compatible with?
  
  Skybox/Openbox S9, S10, S11, S12, F3, M3, X3.

Works great on S11 had to rename all favs manually but im new to this box so not an issue.

One Q, having problems viewing RTE2 HD, just getting scrambled, RTE1 and RTE2 are fine so not sure what could be causing it, any idea?

It seems to have the right info but I can't test this myself, anyone else having issues with RTE Two HD?

Updated from previous version, but all tv channels are removed and only have radio channels? Anybody else having problems, or just me? I have updated previously with no problems so I don't know what happened?

What model are you using? Anyone else having these problems?

Hi terry I had this problem too and I was new to the box it took me ages to suss out go to channel editor menu and it's the favourite editor you want you will now have 3 different boxes left middle right
Along the bottom of the screen it shows red green yellow do actions/ shortcuts well if you press fav button you can select which favourite list you want to edit. If you select 1st list (entertainment) now goto the Center of the screen and there is a pencil there a pop up notepad comes up and there you edit the name and then save
Now go back to the left screen and press fav again and select favourite group 2 and then rename and so on

Good luck it takes ages but it's worth it drives you

There are plenty of other lists with sky numbering, I couldn't add anything to what they've already done.

hi there does anyone no how to put the channel list in with the firmware so i dont need to rename all favs im using a openbox x3 atleast we can then upload back on here save people time of renaming them any help or a guide on how to do it would be great thanks in advance

There are plenty of other lists with sky numbering, I couldn't add anything to what they've already done.

Can anybody recommend a good one, they all seem out of date. Thanks

problem is ths when you dump the x3 file and try to edit or send back to the box you get this even after editing all the faves
