Many thanks for your replies, apologies for not seeing your initial post with excellent advice.

I've managed to extract the file TP_PROG.dbs to my external hard drive. I have one issue. When in the winrar programme I am able to open the file (it seems to be scripted language), but upon extracting to the external hard drive when I try and open it from the location to which I extracted to (i.e the hard drive), it won't open automatically. It asks me to choose a programme from my system which will open it.

My question is, does this really matter? I have the TP_PROG.dbs on my external hard drive all I need to do now is attach it to my F3 skybox and update?

Just because I cannot find a programme to open it on my external hard drive doesn't mean the skybox won't read it?

Hi yes you are correct the box will see the file....just update it but delete the old channel list 1st or you might crash the box

You need special software to open the file .....Ali Editor...STBHDEditor as they speak for themselves you can edit the file with these program's

I don't need Ali Editor at all do I? If I dont need to open the file once on my USB?

The Skybox f3 should read it itself?

Yes mate just stick the file onto usb stick it in the box & upload it
The editor is the type of program that Aj & sattv5 use's to compile the list....

Hi folks

I'm having the same issue as a poster from a few pages ago my sky box came pre loaded with favourites. When I uploaded this one the favourites are out of sync. Did anyone figure out a fix?

The way to get The favourites under the correct headings is to load the default Database:

On the remote select Menu > Factory Settings > Select Yes > Then Press Blue (Dont press anything other than blue)
The screen will flash black for a second and you will be back at the menu. If you check your favourites now they should all be in the correct order and don't forget the thanks button I will be your first Andy.

According to KoS Nick Jr is on multiple satellites. I'm not sure which one is permanent (or more longterm). Which transponder do you have it on (obtained by pressing info twice)?

ye Nic Junior, +1, Nic Peppe Pig etc all gone. Showing no signal. Anyone know latest freqs?

It's strange how some members keep losing channels while others don't, even though they are using the same channel list???

Nick jr & Nick jr peppa both still working here, both on 12604H
