Hi I've updated the channel list but Star Gold is not working can any one help please?

Just updated to the newset channel list, thankyou great work.

One thing though, before I updated when I pressed "OK" on SS1 it would bring all the channels up which are in sport in a big square box which meant swtiching from SS1 to say Premier Sports was qucik and easy. After I have updated when I press "OK" now it opens up like the "FAV" menu so I have to scroll down to move to a channel in the same sector.

Not sure if that make sense, its not a major problem, preffered it the way it was that all. Any ideas?

I tried adding the latest channel list 14/12/2013 but the BT sports channels are totally missing, any idea why?

My f5s is fresh out the box and has the default sats in the sat list? i think... anyway once ive installed this list will it update the sat list with the "skyuk sat"???

Confused coz ive gt lots of sats in my list and the only one which is set to 28.2 is eutelsat 28a

ive seen i need to be on an astra sat but ther not 28.2...... heads chocker here.

in a nutshell will this channel list update my sat list so its not as confusing? thanks!

If you have a fixed dish pointing at Sly.....28.2E yes its correct
if the box has pre-loaded sat's.....when you goto fav's does it show all the channels ???

if it show's all the channels ssp1... bt sports...& so on no need to add a channel list its already got one installed
but might need updating

Then i'm going to guess your next question might be...only a guess by the way don't intend to insult

Noo not in faves I done a scan and all the channels are mixed up, it has bt sport and stuff tho. I take it that's wer ajs list will come in? Just confused by the the diff sats n which one should I be on.. as ive scanned a few and the same channels come up. And no i understand about the scrambled channels.

If you have done a scan then you should have all the channels ...No need for Aj's channel list....

If the channels are all mixed up (not sure what you mean) unless you mean not the same as $ly listing's

If you have a fixed dish (one that does not move) then it does not matter what sat you scan you will always get the same result..

As for the scrambled $ channels .....scanning the sat's or adding Aj's list will not open therm so you can watch them.....the box needs an extra bit to do this....& thats the part we cannot help with

Yes that's what I mean not in order, so installing ajs channel list will order them in the sky format yes?
Yes it must be a fixed dish then that's why I was confused as was getting same results on all sats.
And a I said before, I undetand about scrambled channels.

Seems like your in the same boat as me. Been setting up my Skybox today and found all the channel on eutelsat which I believe is Sky. Thing is all the channels don't seem to be in any order and some show multiple times. If I install Aj's channel list will it put my channels in order, eg. all movies together and all music channels together etc. At the Mo they seem to be chucked in any order.

Yes mate exactly.

I tried to install AJ's. couldn't get it to work, so i installed sattvs instead, guessing there pretty much the same. Everythings now in order plus says "skyuk" in the sat list!

Make sure you delete all channels before the update and possibly factory reset.
