openbox x5

hi i have a openbox x5 and have tried to put the channels same as sky channels have put onto memory stick by itself and deleted all programmes then when i load them from usb says database saved then restarts but no channels at all so some hel would be very much appreciated thanks

is there a certain channel list for F3s hd box?

just a quick 1 aj ive downloaded your channel list in sky order and have tried to do it a few times but there is no menu thing where you say change to 'MISC FILES' any help would be much appreciated its a openbox x5 thanks

Not sure if it is same for X5 but for skyboxes its

On the remote

Menu – Tools – Upgrade by USB

Change the upgrade mode to Misc Files (Right button)

Go to select and upgrade, press OK

Press OK or green (add) button to put a tick by TP_PROG.dbs

Press yellow button to upgrade.

Wait for it to load the file, don’t press anything while it burns the file.

Should only take a few minutes, it usually loads slow to about 10% then wizzes through.

Once it says complete, just keep pressing exit to get back out of the menus. Don’t worry about the update report it gives you.
Then switch it off and on again to save the update ( sometimes it does it itself automatically when you have exited out of the menus).

Hi guys, a question, when downloading the 'update' file it downloads in VLC format????? is there any reason for this as I am unable to update due to this issue.

The file is in .zip format. For some reason your VLC media player must have .zip files associated with it.

Just use winzip, or any similar free program to uncompress it.

Hi, I have an f5/s box will AJs new list the one listed as X5/F6 work on my box or will I need a different list?

you need the list for the F3 & F5 for your receiver

Finally added all the SD channels to the (With SD) list. Let me know if you see any issues.
