cud be clone box have you tried searcing the alls sats button you may find multiple boxnation hds in there one will work,check them all

Tried it twice now bud its rebooted both times!! no idea what i am doing wrong do you??

Mate don't get the "All sats Button bit" can't find that?????? it just finishes the search and i exit...where do i go from there please???

Just done ajs update from 9/11/14 and all chanels are still scrambled, any ideas anyone??

AJ's channel list doesn't decrypt/unscramble channels, if your free to air channels ie bbc1/itv don't work, then it sounds like a dish problem or a problem installing the channel list.

If your free to air channels work then something has expired/not installed, unfortunately this 'something' is against forum rules to discuss.

I have had my sky f5s box for nearly a year now, the channel list and everything was already set up it was just plug and play. I've started to get the scrambled screen a lot now and think my box needs updating. Anyone able to help me update it fully so all the channels work again??

Scrambled is not related to the channel listing. If it said no signal, then it would be, but scrambled means something may of expired your end which we can not discuss here. Talk to the person you bought it from.

So you have never updated your channel list, & you have had the box a year!

As blundey says, you may need to update something else, as well as your channel list, but you might as well update your channel list first.

EDIT:
This is really weird.

Took it to another property and it works fine.

Yet did not work here properly, really strange.

I put my Horizon meter on it and it gives over 95% on all 3 bands also any other box I put on, dm500, vu+, Medi@plus, etc work absolutely fine.

as I say weird.

Help needed please

I have upgraded with the latest sat list but as always seem to struggle. (AJs List 9-11-14)

Just a brief test gives the following

sly 1, 3 & 4 (no signal) 2 & 5 are fine.

flicking to movies I tried first 2 (no signal)

I am loath to download via a full scan as the garbage created is too much and the editors flaoting around are hit & miss compared to others such as dbedit.

Surely I must be doing something wrong so help would be appreciated


ps.

I have always thought these boxes are more trouble than they are worth and no longer supply them,
however I need to get this one running to supply working channel list to previous customers hence post.

Thankyou for all your feedback, all I did was buy a box online and plug it in. Since that I've done nothing. I did sort out the epg after reading an earlier thread. I don't have any idea of the person who sold the box to me so is there anyone that can point me in the right direction to get this resolved.

As I mentioned in my previous post, the first thing you should do is update your channel list which is way out of date. If only some of your channels are not showing, then perhaps that's all you need to do to get them back.

hi sorry if this has been asked before but 204 pages of mainly thanks etc i really don't want to scroll through let alone read, i have the latest channel list from AJ, 95% of everything works fine , i am getting no signal or very low on a few channel ie BBC1/2/itv/ch4 - in the TP list i scrolled through to see which are low signal, they are 1,3,7,12,23,30,36,37,39,40,50,51,52,55,56,66,70,74 ,75,82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89,90,91,131.

i have had 2 other boxes here, one f3 and an f3s both recieved BBC1/2/itv/ch4 etc not that i went through all but i did for the ones mentioned, Does anyone have a clue why my f5s box won't get BBC1/2/itv/ch4, i reckon any others i haven't mentioned will reappear once the basic channels are sorted out.

Do you have an F3s/F5s and also get sound but no picture on

If so download the firmware in this post:-

Then use Winrar or any other similar program to unpack it. Put it on a USB memory stick.
Insert memory stick into Skybox. Go to Menu > tools > upgrade by USB. Upgrade mode = Image File (*.abs).
Select your image in "upgrade file" box (if you have more than 1 image on the memory stick). "Keeping DBS & setting" = yes.
Scroll to "Start" & press OK.

Although it should keep all your important settings, make sure your special bit of info is already backed up to your pc or USB stick first.
