My channels have all scrambled tonight. Have updated with the list from 2nd April but everything still scrambled. Anyone help or have a new list? Thanks

All as in FTA as well ?? if not we cant discuss it any further mate DK rules. It could be that your box has run out of gas and needs looking at

Well you need to look at the magic that makes most things work. Is dhcp ticked in network settings ?

Guys forgive me if iv missed something but I searched and found no answer.

Downloaded the new channel list, deleted old list and put the new one on and all works.......except

on my old list when Favourites was pressed it came up, ftv,,sports, documentary's, movies etc, but now it only comes up fav group 1 2 3 etc.


found it way better and easier when it was all categorised .. am I doing something wrong or is this the way aj is doing his lists from now on?

I don't know why your box should have set them back to fav1,2,3 etc, but to get the correct headings back do the following:-


To get the headers to show correctly, you need to reset your box back to Factory settings after you have installed the latest channel list (menu > tools > factory settings). A message will appear to say that it will erase the channels. Select Yes. A pop-up menu will appear with options to erase other files. DO NOT SELECT ANY OF THESE. Press the blue button on remote. Wait a few seconds for the data to be saved.

You should now have the favourites labeled correctly.

Put the box into standby & then back to ON. (You have to do this now before making any of the changes mentioned below, otherwise they will revert back).


Depending on which model of openbox/skybox you have, these menu options may need to be reset...

Check summer time is set correctly.
EPG default setting will be "satellite"
If you have your channel list layout set to "three" it will reset back to "whole" in the M/P > GUI config setting.
Check DHCP is set to ON
Check Local time setting is still on UK
Subtitles will be set to ON
Network Local Settings may be hidden on older models (press 6666)
camds setup may be hidden in Network Local Settings (press 6666)
Volume will be reset to half way
PIN might have been reset to 0000 (not sure about this, as I never change it).

When did MUTV become CNN?

My channels are all intact but they are freezing constantly. Is this a case of poor internet connection? The last update from 2nd April has been done (AJ's channel list). Is there something I am missing

Same here for me. MUTV HD is CNN, but MUTV SD is fine

CWAITE's Sly Numbered channel list now has an ALL Channels section in Favourites which contains all of the channels together (except the Non working HD channels and the test section)with no gaps, to get to this make sure you have CWAITE's latest channel list Press FAV on your Satellite Remote then scroll up or down to the last Favourite Section (labelled Fav Group 32 or ALL CHANNELS).
