Openbox/skybox S12 on standby mode

Hi all, my first post here. I have an openbox/skybox S12. It is on standby mode. All you see is a red light. When remote control pressed nothing happens. Does it mean it is useless or is there any chance to bring this back to life?

Hi mezzyg, I have tried the power cable in and out quite a few times with no luck.

Hi DW190, good point, but don't know if the remote is working or not as this is the only device I got. While directed towards receiver nothing happens regardless whichever button you press. No light comes out from the remote infra-red as well. Is there any specific method to test this without buying an other remote?

I can confirm that the remote control is working. I have tried pointing it to the "Photo Booth" and it's transmitting the signal.
