which ever f/w used causes s9 to black out menus

no matter what firm ware i use on s9 it blacks out the menu and all sub menus so i cant make any changes to sat list or cccam settings or any sub menu. only upgrade by usb is able to be used...

anyone got any advise

I've only seen that with hibox f2 firmware installed on an openbox s10.No explanation ever found.
All the menus were greyed out.

I found a way round this problem,if i remember correctly I had to press 0000,or 6666 on the remote then the sub menus and cccam settings will appear.
