Openbox S11 HD PVR problem.

A friend's bought an Openbox S11 HD PVR, even though I did my best to persuade him to buy a Dreambox.
For past 2 weeks I've tried most of the firmware's to get him sports channels but to no avail. He has all the fta channels.

Does anyone know of any known issues with the S11 OR can anybody point me in the right direction for firmware that works with this box please?

Dont really know of any issues, do you mean it doesnt pick up the sports channels on a scan or what. Does it pickup the movies etc. Need you to be more specific.

Hi Mast.

He doesn't get anything other than the FTA channels. So no movies, sports or Disney channels.
On another thread, there was a mention of 'cccam' and/or 'nline' needs looking into.

Should the firmware available on this form work for the S11 box?

does he get the scrambled message on the screen that will tell us he is getting the signal but not decoding them. There is also an issue with sly lnbs (Quads) I got a s11 for my m8 and couldnt get lots this was due to switching voltage between V and H freqs. looped it through my dreambox and they all came up. Are the missing ones all V or H channels

Yes, the scrambled signal comes up on all the premium channels.
Not sure if V or H channels are missing as I'm not with him at the moment. But I know all movies and all sports were missing.
What firmware did you use for the S11?

Well if he is picking up the sports, movies etc and they coming up scrambled then the obvious question is does he have a cline from a provider cos without it thats all he is gonna get fta channels.

theres a few people having same prob with the s11 as i am 1 of em the line is ok as works in f3 f5 x5 vu duo and so on its just s11 n line is active and online but comming up scrambled on s11 only any info thanks sky disney movies is working ok

Has it got the latest channel list?
Might be the same problems about openbox high voltage problem and vertical transponder not being scanned fix being to change lnb or a kit from ebay.
