Try using a multimeter. Check a fuse. Check psu.

        Hi

Sounds like the psu board inside the box, as suggested multimeter to check the voltages are good. Possibly blown caps on the psu board.

        Look for any bulging/leaking caps.

        Regards

            Hi

If psu is allright your only hope is to try and use the 2.0.0c upgrade tool and hope you can revive it. If I can find the thread link to it Il post it up or do search on the forum theres a few threads here.

            Regards

              Hi

Have a read of this thread although you dont see "on" the display for you this might work for you.

It will help if you know what firmware was on the box and try and flash that on.

If you are lucky to manage it let us as it requires a lot of patience.

              Regards

                    Hi

Thats the problem with trying to recover, some people have had success and some havent. Its to do with trying to get the timng right and so you have to keep trying till it kicks in.

Some peole have said that if you try with the last known firmware that was on box it helps.

If you pm your email addy Ive got a collection of loaders that you can try.

How did you check your cable was fine.... you are sure its a null modem cable.

                    Regards

                          Hi

Just waiting for attachment to load up to hotmail, its a collection of files and slight variations to the loader collected from various sources and thanks goes to them who originally uploaded them.

Ive got a few tuts/tips in there that Ive collected by various members who suggested ways.

Youre gonna need loads of patience and if these files dont get it going then its a goner.

Hotmail is struggling at minute thats fourth time its failed comes back and says server is busy please try later.

I will keep trying till you get it keep an eye on your email addy, will let you know when successful in sending, maybe its becaue its 12mb in size.

                          Regards
