    openbox help please

    Hi new here.

I have got 2 seperate Sly boxes running from the one dish in diff rooms in my house. I haven't checked yet but i assume through dual lnb on the dish.

I'd like to get an openbox and cancel one of the boxes yet run the other one. My question is..do i need a new dish to run the openbox.?

If not.. is it ok to still run the other box as a normal?

also i have broadband with them too. do i need to change to a diff provider or am i just being paranoid?

    any help appreciated

No you don't need another dish, and ye just run as normal, would be advised to change bb provider

Well, you deffo dont need another dish and depending on what you want to do with the openbox will depend on whether you need a new BB provider. If you use it as a freeview box then no. If you want to share outside house (buy a cline) then yes.

If the latter I would get rid of both and buy two then internal share. This is all hypothetical as we are not sure of your finished requirements

Why would he be advised to change his BB provider? If its a good supply why change it.

After all its with a Company that is well known to participate in and condone the hacking of TV receivers.

          thanks for reply guys.

OK- im going to buy the openbox. Ill run it from the one dish aswell as the other box.

If it all goes ok ill cancel my multiroom(10 pounds a month ) and cancel a few channels..hopefully saving me money.

still not sure about changing internet provider though. it might put my mind at ease..but its a hassel aswell!

M8 from wot I have read the only reason ppl recommend it is that if you were to externally share with someone then Sly "Could" have a look to see wot u r up to but it is unlikely. so its up to you really. You do realise you will only get FTA channels on the box as it stands.
