Sky box and open box on same dish problem

Hello guys I've just installed a open box in my uncles house and he's got a official skybox upstairs that they use and the openbox downstairs in the sitting room

When both on together I don't get some channels it shows 7-10% signal but when sky turned off it jumps to 75%

Is there a way to stop this happening?

Its a sky mk4 dish with quad lnb
And I'm using open box s11

Are you splitting the cable by any chance or do you have full separate cable for each box.
Check aerial connections as well.

There are known issues with some quad lnb and openbox.

I would check the connectors at each end off coaxial cable first. To make sure the inner isn't touching outer. And try different output on lnb connector.

Ye I se what you mean but if I change the lnb setting on openbox to another fixed number instead of default 9750-1600 it works fine with both switched on.

Try changing firmware to an earlier one, this worked for me and have no problems with 2 openbox and a sly box all Hd work V & H
