S10 constantly freezing

Hi guys my sis has an s10 constantly freezing. I have reset to factory settings and updated to latest firmware etc and stiil doing this,

I was thinking maybe the tuner needs replaced wondering has anyone experienced this at all. All help appreciated

Is this doing it on the free channels too or just the crypted channels.

Doing it on both m8 i noticed the signal bar when switching channel is ok but big bar dropping to 0 making me think its the tuner

Could be the tuner but check the cable for soundness, no outer cabes touching the centre inner cable.

Can also possibly be the lnb. Maybe an idea to try your box at a friends and a friends box at yours.

If its the tuner you will get the "No Signal" appear on the screen and the signal will have dropped to less than 50

Have just tried blind scanning instead of installing bouquets and failing on alot of channels, i know sat is ok as my s9 working fine of it which makes me think its the tuner. Anyone any other ideas or think what i think???

I have had the same/similar problem with my s11.

After endless tries with dish and tuner faulty finding.

I found the LNB to be faulty.

As you said the s9 works fine, it could be the s10 is
overpowering the lnb (my opinion)
What lnb are you using?

I have spent a lot of time trying to sort this out on 4 boxes but i have gone back to an old firmware. (nov ) and i have not had any freezing or the unit locking up since i have done this. I was using that red firmware. If this works for you let me know.

Yeh, that red fw caused my mate lots of freezing issues, swapped to an official fw an fine since,
On another box i had tune errors, bought a new tuner from china an that box fine since, both on s10's

Have went through all the fw from yojia website direct lads and made no diff i have a tuner ordered will let you know how i get on.

Good that youve comeback with the feedback and glad your problems sorted.

Im sure this will help a lot of people to try a tuner.... by the way how much did the tuner cost.
