Skybox S12 Clone ID ?

Hi all.

Just returned from a sabbatical on DB500S.
Need to know how to tell if skybox S12 is clone before proceeding with firmware load . Have pulled off mac ID etcc.
Also is USB method reliable ?

Any help gratefully rceived.

Menu > Tools > Information > Press 8888 & note Chip ID, there's a list of genuine IDs on here somewhere.

Looks like my S12 is a genuine . Not bad picture quality either for the price.
Now looking for a decent channel list . Not desperate though as I really should tailor one myself !!
