stb memory error on skybox f3

hi my box would not power up so tryed with a null cable its say stb memory error any one have any idear what to do

How long you had it. Did you check the obvious fuses, psu output etc. Does anything come on telly just to make sure that front display might not be coming on but box might be ok.

If you have checked all that and you need to try the loader then not sure about f3 but the openboxes you got to keep trying, its about timing.

I am thinking that maybe as f3 is a new box you could maybe contact supplier for exchange rather than mess with it.

thanks guy s i took the box a part under the power supply board there was like a black powder on it wiped it clean works a treat now . i no i could send it but i like to play with this things more fun

or it could have just been the fact you took it apart and put it back together,like a bad connection.

could of mate must say really like the box alot fast than the s11 openbox plus nicer to look at and the image is nice to on it

always got stb memory error on sktbx F3..
used tool EromUpgrade 2.0.0c 2009-05-22
on w7 PC direct com..
any ideas...

Try again using the original firmware that was on the box before it went, worked for me.

Don't forget to check "include bootloader" in the loader.

for a few hours, my locks off automatically restart openbox. She arrives at number 100 shows the host interface "Openbox" and then the screen goes black and the machine did another lap.

I flashed with the cable "null modem" with the software Eromupgrade for recharging. h'ai essy? the two most recent firmware for openbox x3.

despite that, nothing has changed, it always restarts in a loop.

I wonder if the cache or ram has not been damaged

what else can I do?
