    Openbox s11 channels scrambled

Purchased s11 to replace sd dm500. Channels are all scrambled when all the channels work on dm500 (fta and paid)

Any ideas why? When I take the s11 to another room where i have another sat line the unscrambled channels seem to work fine. Very wierd.

When you are trying your openbox in main room are both boxes on, are they both on different c lines.

I think mast has hit the problem on the head.

I don't have two boxes with c lines. Just the one. I've heard because of the high voltage that openbox operates at a booster of some sort is required.

              Hi

Then as has been suggested try swapping your ethernet cable.

How do you connect to box in both rooms, is it direct connections or is one via homeplugs.

Also when you connect in first room and its not clearing just check if dhcp is on.

              Regards

One box is connected straight from router. The other is connected via bridge. It's definitely a signal issue. I just checked that if I connect to sat more than two boxes channels become scrambled. I may have to get that no signal fix booster which is available on fleabay.

                  Hi

That could be your lnb. some openboxes dont work to well with some lnb.

Do you have a dual or quad lnb.

                  Regards

Replacement or tweaking of Lnb required?

If I put in another dish and keep that separate from box will that resolve issue? Or if I replace Lnb what should I replace to? I have 4 lines coming into house. 3 are currently being used the other isn't as the wire isn't transmitting a signal.
