Openbox / Skybox F3 S12 Signal Help

Not sure if anyone knows what the loop is for been trying to work it out anyone know anythink on it thx

It simply passes through the satellite signal (loops it out) to another satellite receiver if you have one... Its a pretty useless way of connecting two seperate satellite boxes to a dish though, its always best for each box to have its own feed direct from the LNB...

mostly used to connect test equipment like spectrum analyzers.I wouldn't risk roasting the tuner trying to connect another receiver.People have enough problems.

thanks for the replies guys i thought it was connecting other boxes but i also thought of the probs it could cause the reason why i was asking is im having signal probs from the skybox f3 .

i have a skybox f3 downstairs and a sky hd box upstairs when i put the sky hd box upstairs the skybox downstairs seem to loose some signal and 3 - 4 channels keep saying no signal but when i unplug the sky hd box signal goes back up and i no longer have no signal probs, just wondering if any of you guys know to a fix .

Im using a quad lnb and a normal sky dish thx
