Skybox F3 firmware - wifi manager plus Irish channel settings

Here is the latest F3 firmware which includes the wifi manager option and also includes all named favourites in the channel lists. It is suited to my own use which means the Irish channels, with PIN de-activated and set as default as 0000

This wifi firmware has the wep key length/timeout flaw - i'm still waiting for update from manufacture unless someone has a new version?

I found that wifi flaw as well when first put dongle in, then I wired it with the Ethernet cable and again tried the dongle and was then able to connect with wifi.

hi sean nice work mate but i cant use it as you have deleted all the sats and i like putting hotbird and sirius etc and its tedious to add these in after

do you have your software with all the sats still in place you could post up mate?

sorry mate I didn't create this, just used an old version and tailored it a bit to my own liking

i upgrade my shybox f3 with the newest firmware to get wifi,,,but when i restart my channel listing disapears

so i reinstall it then it wipes my wifif update off!!!!,,,what am i doing wrong ?

install ur old version first, then pop in ur usb, go to dump by usb, dont dump the whole image, just select the channel list.

then install the new firmware, then after install the channel list from ur usb

Does anyone know the network settings to use if you have talktalk if I cant get the wifi up and running. Thanks for this file I will test it out.

WEP should be 10 characters long, is yours that length?

WPA works OK for me, never tried WEP

26 keys for 128bit 10 for 64 bit. Tried them every way available and still won't work

Just trying to get my head around this, so sorry for the questions,

Got my box ( it helps ) factory settings

Do I need just now need this firmware download and that will provide channel list or do I still need to put another one on ie the stickie from mast ???
