Help For F3 Skybox Please or Advice
Because i have dynamic ip address, I manually set the local ip on the F3 - then used dyn to update my external ip and put the dyn details into my router and the updater on my pc.

The static local ip on the F3 does show up when I connect to my router pages, but still yellow/amber lights on the router panel and wont do anything

I can't get it to work, also I bought it for WIFI originally but the firmware has a bug in it, wrong wep key length or time outs

I did get the weather app to work at one point, so it must be connecting to the web?

Shall I just send this box back and get another?

If I send back, can someone recommend a box that it best?

hello the skybox f3 wifi is a great little box i have a wifi version and its working fine i would try google if you cant get a reply here.

I get the key length error on WEP - needs to be 5-13 characters - er no it don't.

Also wont connect properly on LAN

making me mad!

hi,, if you have a little search on here,,,i downloaded image file with favs all set up and wifi included,,, works fine

I tried one off here and won't work, maybe not the same as you.

Get wep key lenght error or timeout all the time on netgear

i had similar error, i had to change the password to wpa2 only via router settings.

you cannot have your router password as wep and wpa2

I am waiting for an update via manufacturer, My printer wont reconise WPA
