    DiSEqC switch or Openbox failure?

I have a couple of satellites running through a dual+single lnb via a DiSEqC switch into an Openbox S9. This worked fine until it didn't. Now all reception ceases a second or two after startup. If I reboot it works again for a second then everything dies. I plugged the dual lnb directly into the Openbox and it works fine. When I run it through the switch the problem returns. What happens is the menus and everything seem ok, but all channels on all satellites say there is no signal.

This suggests to me that either the switch is bad or the signal from the Openbox is failing. How can I tell which it is? Does anyone else have experience of this? Thank for any tips.

    Happened to me.

Running 3 quad lnbs through a diseqc switch on a s11. Great for 6 months then signal started to fail. Replaced cable and switch, no change so sent box back to supplier as reckoned failing tuner. New box fine for a few weeks and back to square 1, have to keep rebooting the box to get a signal back for 5 or 10 minutes and then signal degrades to nil.

Looks like a dreambox on the horizon for me.
