I have purchased an Openbox S11 off Fleabay and have either been brave or foolish and have avoided those bearing free 'pay extra for' gifts. I have checked that the box is not a clone and ready to follow the sticky setup guide above.

I have looked through the vast amount of channel lists and have selected what I think will work for me, however, the guide mentions an image file and I can't seem to find that.

It's probably a stupid question and I have my tin hat on ready

Just copy your channel list over, you dont need to touch your image. If you need it instructions are in my post http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...umbers-274699/

Safest thing to do would be to just scan the satellite you want and then organise your own channels.. Yea, so organising channels takes some time, but it'll then be just how you like it...

Channel frequencies can and do change, the openbox will not update itself like a SkyTV box, so even if you use somebody elses channel list, at some point in the future you'll notice certain channels will slowly begin not working, and you'll either have to load another list, or scan yourself... And if the channel list you download was made some time ago then there might already be some channels in it that no longer work...
