I have that firmware too. Is this one newer? Assuming the '120605' & '08_05_2012' parts are dates (5/6 vs 8/5) I'd assume so?

But I'm confused by the last number in these firmware names (05A2/0781) Anyone know what these represent? they look like build numbers (in hex) but if that's the case then the later date firmware has a LOWER build number?

Can anyone help decipher these firmware names? Also are there any release notes available somewhere to tell what's new/improved?

same firmware just released from another maker which is always behind the original makers

I don't have the box so no way to check the sys info screen.Ibox and openbox the same except for the logo.I assumed the file was named properly with the correct date.
a hex editor shows the correct date for maincode,so I don't know what the problem is.Maybe a bug in the receiver.

It has one more CAM entry, otherwise no noticeable difference.

1. Add GS CAM and X CAM in software.
2. Hide the Cam infomation function in Menu. to open it, pls go to menu of "network local", then press 6666 on the remote controller.
3. Renew the Language for Russian.

I hate when people post old firmware as new.
Check the sys info screen first to make sure it is really new.
