skybox f3 error 1 ?

has the title says ppl my friends skybox f3 loads to 0093 then freezes for a while then the display says error 1 , is it a firmware problem ? any help on it would be brill ...

poped up itself m8 hes only had the box 2 weeks the fella he brought it off said he would install latest firmware and channel list but when i checked it it had a few channel missing so i installed my channel list, thats all that has been put on the box m8. it started acting up 2 days ago

Did you take usb dump before putting your channel list..?? and if you did...did you try updating the box with that dump files..?

nope m8 all we did to my friends box was just updated the channel list our side that was it really.

i have 1 also off the same guy i havent had any probs with mine tho .

Even if you flash a new firmware..you might loose your gift...I guess the best would be to ask the seller to send you the files and upgrade with that and see if the box comes back to life. Assuming you did everything by the book when loading the channel list...it might be a hardware issue...but again the best bet would be to get back to the seller

If it does come back to life...pls save a dump first before loading any channel lists.

ill do a back up of everythink then try the firmware update see what happens ill message the seller first tho , thx for the help anyways m8

tried the new firmware update worked turned off restarted etc but then when he woke up this morning same again error 1 ? ive advised him to chat to the seller about it

Password for wat..?? if its for the channels then you got to get in touch with the person who sold you the box..or if you updated your channel list yourself then check the thread where you downloaded the .dbs file from...

It sounds like a firmware problem. Try loading stock firmware by RS232 then do a full reset.

SECURESIGNAL try 3312 3313 . i agree with lincsat r32 had a smiler prob my self i have the original sofwear if u need it
