trouble setting up

hi guys having a few problmes setting up my openbox hd11 i input all the information correctly an its status is still offline so i have been told to turn off the DHCP but when i try to apply it it says invalid alternative DNS

what should i do?

Whats your set up, I always keep dhcp on. Are you saying you cant get payview channels.

the DHCP is on at the moment but if i look at my line set up it is ticked for active but says offline

Then either you have not inputted details correctly or problem at server end.

Also what is your setup direct cable or homeplugs.

in the tools part there is a factory default should i do that an see if i can start again from fresh?

At this stage I wouldnt, if you do factory default make sure you have made a full dump before you mess about and also you have the all important details saved.

not 2 sure what you mean by a dump or what there is to dump because i havnt even started to watch anything coz it aint working

Replied to your pm, you need to check setup your end, cables etc. Has your box been assigned an Ip addy and as you have your all important info you could update firmware and channel list if you want.

Just sent you a pm on how to input info try that and see how you get on, think you may have missed something inputting via remote.

In your menu you can see your network details cant you cos in some firmware I think its been greyed out.
