    skybox f3 display settings help

    hi setting up m8s skybox f3 has anybody got the best display seting for this box ie.brightness contrast saturation hue sharpness using 1080i and yuv thanks in advance

    Now that will be a bit complicated as every TV brand is different and these settings will have a different effect on different TV brands as their display and tech behind is different...plus its also by personal choice...you may like your screen with more contrast or brightness and I may not...so my settings although perfect for me will be usless for you..!!
    The quickest way to double your money is to fold it over and put it back in your pocket..

      thanks for that but if i can try your settings it may need a small tweak so any chance of trying your setting m8

        I don't understand the prob; I've got 1080p on TV and as setting on F3. Using HDMI, I haven't touched the settings you're asking about because they were fine straight out the box. In any case you can just tweak them to suit can't you?

          out of the box the colours etc all set on 50 picture crap .just thought to save me time somebody may have tweaked the settings and could post .i have had a tweak and pic now not bad as i said not my box just trying to get back to m8 asap with best settings.so if no one can give me there best setup i would say close this thread.after all is`nt this forum about helping out ?

            limited display settings on the box... do it all on the telly instead.

              Heres my display settings on the box:

              Resolution is 1080 @ 60hertz

              Brightness 53
              Contract 50
              Saturation 50
              Hue 50
              Sharpness 5

                Yup the colour setting are crap. I turned the hue down to 45, Slightly better on my Sony. Have no probs with the Dreambox !

                  i use 1080p 60hz setting on the box, phillips tv, cant see the need to alter anything else as picture quality, colour etc is fine
