Opebox 11 'No signal' on certain channels

I bought an openbox11 with all the channels already installed.

However, some are showing 'no signal' (i.e. Sky Premier, yet Sky Premier+1 works fine?), Sport 1, 2 & 4 work, yet Sports 3 has 'no signal'

Would installing a new channel list solve the problem, or is there anything else I can do to fix it?

    thanks

channels have probably moved giving you a no signal, you could rescan to get them working again,if there is a new updated list that could be used also.

I have to agree with cactikid. Anybody would have to try a rescan first especially as this would be the easiest option and free. Then check all cable connections and lnb. This thread sounds like someone trying to sell me something.

          hi
some channel will move to diffrent frequacy so your best choice is scan the box if this does not help get your dish checked if it moves slightly with wind that can cause is well

There are different ways to try.

i installed an earlier version of firmware and never had a problem since on 10 boxes.
no need to change lnb ( unless it is a very very old one )
that fix off ebay never worked either for me

another one is do make sure your cable is in good shape, no water coming down it as i have seen being an installation engineer over the years.

I'd say a channel list update will almost certainly fix it, why would you try anything else first? It's free & takes about 2 minutes.

i think youll find there is a need to change the lnb
some openboxes are very fussy with quad lnbs
and if he changes it all will be fine (please post back when
                  u get your solution)
