old firmware needed for clone openbox s9

hi, got an s9 with only saying on. the person im trying to fix it for dident save firmware, i am pretty sure its a clone because it has figure 8 power lead so i was thinking to try erom loader and an old firmware. done it loas of times with my openboxes after bad flashes but this bugger wont load erom saying faild memory or something. any help greatfully accepted.

Probably "stb memory error" Its a timing issue so keep trying.

You probably know if youve done it before that some loaders do come with old firmware thats worked for someone.

Any particular firmware you after should be some on forum if not Il try and upload for you.

Jester I had a similar problem as yourself and the ONLY firmware to work for me was this one http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...2011-a-195709/ in post number one, I tried around 10 firmwares and none would work for me only this, good luck with it and please let us know if it worked for you.

just tried above f/w but no go. thanks for help though. any body else gona have a go. all help concidered, dont like little boxes getting better of me!

was an s10 thread,but the firmware is actually s9 firmware from may 4,2011
Make sure you are using loader v2.0.0c
